Morten - this is not a soccer game.. this is handball I guess you have some problem with its definition. Soccer is nothing in Olympic games but handball has its reputation there. Because some countries are tired to play this will remain as it supposed to be. Sorry.

Just saw 2 matches, and the way the matches were filmed were really, really bad, often you missed out on what was happening. Disappointing!

The EC has become a tournament insignificant to a lot of countries. Many of the worlds best players have withdrawn as they dont really rate the EC like the WC or the Olympics. Only Hungary and Norway take the EC serious this year and I bet they will win the gold and the silver.

I think the problem is that there are way to many tournaments. Why not do it like in football where the EC and WC are held every 4 years instead of the 2 years we see in handball. It is just to much with a big tournament every single year. If it continues this way the EC will just be a tournament of no prestige and thats really a shame.

I understand the players though, because they already have crazy scheduals in the national leagues and they must be given a break once in a while, so many of them skip the EC.

Just to illustrate what the players are put through I now see that Norway will play 15 competitive matches in the next 26 days and thats absolutely insane. I can only fear how many norwegian players will return injured to their clubs after the EC.

I know the danes have suggested that WC and EC should be every 4 years like in football and I hope that suggestion is carried out, cause I think it will bring back the prestige to the EC as a tournament where all of europes best players participate.

I hope for a little debate on this issue from this forum.

Why not Hungarian speaking to join also here and then with united effort we could attract more people from all around the Europe. :)

Good idea. But maybe you should call more English speaking people here :)
