He, I would say changed 50-60% of team and he saw that it is rather better. They already played like they did it at least a few years already together.
By the way, I was believing up to the first extra period of final match that Danmark will get Olympic gold before and during Olympic tournament. And only after if I remember Kiærskou scored I believed again. :)

Let's just hope their new coach will make better decisions. So far I think it is going in the right direction, and he has replaced quite a few of the "old" players with younger talents

None of us believed that Denmark would take the third olympic gold, nobody believed in Norways chances at WCh 2005, and most of us only believed that Norway could threaten Hungary at ECh 2004 but as i recall Norway beat Hungary by 15 goals or something. these are all surprises that noone could have foreseen! The strange thing is that Hungary beat everyone convincingly in the preliminary round and in the main round until they faced Denmark. i will believe you if you say that they lost because of poor tactics, because you are probably right...

Taylor, just for information Ulrik is not sooo good expert and he mistakes very often. He did not believe that Danish girls would take the third Olympic gold, he did not believe that Norwegian team would proceed to the main round in WC-05 in Tunisia, he did not believe that Norway would become European Champions in 2004. I guess too many mistakes. But it is not so big problem.
And regarding EuroChampionship, Hungarian team changed coach but coach did not change the mind of players and own and continued doing the same mistakes as his proceedor which based too much on Radulovic. She gets elder, they had to understand it and moreover changeing players after attack slowing the game and give opportunities for opponent-team to score immediately after attack. That's why I think they missed their opportunity and u can add there that maybe they again believed to media who named them Champions before Championship before time.

By the way... I don't really know what to think about Palinger joining the Danish league. On one hand I CAN'T WAIT to see her live in action for my city's team, but on the other hand I'm afraid that Dunaferr will be weakened by her transfer. I must admit that I am a bigger fan of Dunaferr than of FC København... Does Dunaferr have anyone but Gracana to guard the goal...??
